Elizabeth (Liz) Jayanti is a recognized thought leader in the field of Human Resource Development. Liz seamlessly translates lessons from research into the daily realities of management practice to help companies build impactful, affordable custom solutions to their business challenges.
Prior to starting Shrewd HR, Liz developed training for both Fortune 500 companies and small high-tech businesses. She has also developed course content for a training and development course at the University of Minnesota and taught undergraduate level courses at Michigan State University. She received her B.A. magna cum laude from Saint Olaf College. Liz has published articles in the journals Human Resource Development Review, Human Resource Development International, and the ASTD Spectrum newsletter of the Twin Cities Area Association for Training and Development.
In her spare time, Liz likes to volunteer with professional societies and NGOs. She has worked with education-focused NGOs on the Indian subcontinent, writing their vision and mission statements and organizing work-based learning programs. She is a member of the Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD), American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and Society for Human Resource Management.
